Valleys started the brighter with a goal from mid-fielder Lisa Lynch after three minutes which was followed by a superb point from Laura Brew. After some great saves by Kate O'Mahony for Valley Rovers, Niamh Lynch hit an unstoppable shot to the bottom corner of Valleys net. After some great play by Ellie Kiely and Jennifer and Sarah Murphy to get the ball forward to Katie Lynch and Ciara Murphy Valleys were unlucky not to score.
