Safeguarding statement
Valley rovers Camogie Club, as part of the Camogie Association, is committed to creating and maintaining the safest possible environment for all young people who wish to participate in our Gaelic Games and activities. We will take all practicable steps to protect them from discernible forms of abuse – from harm, discrimination or degrading treatment and shall respect their rights, wishes and feelings.
Our Safeguarding Statement recognises that in accordance with legislation and with the requirements of our Codes and Rules that the welfare and interests of children are paramount in all circumstances. It aims to ensure that all children and young people have a positive, developmental and enjoyable experience of Camogie and when participating in our activities that they do so, as far as is practicable, in a safe and enjoyable environment.
