Ladies Football - U21's 2015
Valley Rovers under 21 Ladies footballers took on Kinsale in Brinny on
Sunday in the under 21 B championshiip. Kinsal made the better start
scoring the opening goal after 2 minutes. . Valleys got their opening
point after 5 minutes with a point from Michelle O'Regan from a free
after Ellie Kiely was fouled. kinsale bossed the first quarter leading
2-7 to 0-2 . Valleys second point coming from Daire Kiely after good
build up play from Emily Palmer, Eimear Kiely,Sinead Dart-O'Flynn, Grace
O'Reilly Aoibheann Harte and Michelle O'Regan. The rest of the half
Kinsale kept the pressure up and lead 7-12 to 0-2 at half time. .Valleys
Made the better start to the second half scoring the opening two points
firstly Daire Kiely after a good pass from Cathy O'Donovan. It was
quickly followed up with a point from Michelle O'Regan. After that it
was all Kinsale as they ran out winners 9-17 to 0-4. . it could been
more only for Emma o'Brien in goal and the defence of Sarah McCarthy,
Megan O'Brien, Aileen Cremin, Grainne Dart O'Flynn, Katie Lynch and Kate
O'Mahony. Despite the scoreline Valleys can be Proud of the effort,
The players heads never dropped and kept playig til the end. most of the
plays are minor and the players that are not minor were in 2014.
