Report from Valley Rovers AGM

Last Valley Rovers held  a very successful AGM. Outgoing chairperson John O’Donovan welcomed the large crowd to the meeting and following the Chairman’s address the meeting went through the Secretary and Treasures reports. The Meeting then proceeded to the election of officers for 2026 and it was great to see all positions filled. The club also introduced a new officer position of Sustainability Officer.  The full list of officer elected for 2026 are as follows

In addition the Club also appointed a new Vice president in Mary Crowley. This appointment is thoroughly deserved and is in recognition of years of unselfish dedication to the club.

Finally the meeting concluded after incoming Chairperson John Lynch said a few words thanking the club for electing him. Thanking outgoing Chairperson John O’Donovan for 3 years of hard work. He also hoped to see more people to come forward and contribute to the growing club that we have. Many hands make light work!
