Last Valley Rovers held a very successful AGM. Outgoing chairperson John O’Donovan welcomed the large crowd to the meeting and following the Chairman’s address the meeting went through the Secretary and Treasures reports. Both were complimented on their detailed reports. If any member would like a copy please email secretary.valleyrovers.cork@gaa.ie. The Meeting then proceeded to the election of officers for 2026 and it was great to see all positions filled. The club also introduced a new officer position of Sustainability Officer. In addition the Club also appointed a new Vice president in Mary Crowley. This appointment is thoroughly deserved and is in recognition of years of unselfish dedication to the club.

Finally the meeting concluded after incoming Chairperson John Lynch said a few words thanking the club for electing him. Thanking outgoing Chairperson John O’Donovan for 3 years of hard work. He also hoped to see more people to come forward and contribute to the growing club that we have. Many hands make light work!

Sincere sympathy to the Cummins and Lehane families on the passing of their father and grandfather Tim
Cummins (Innishannon) on November 15th, 2025 peacefully at his residence. Timothy (Tim) beloved husband of the late Sheila (nee Lordan) Ballymountain House and dear father of Carol, John, Linda and Bernard. Deeply regretted by his loving family, sons in law Bill and Liam, daughters in law Kathleen and Julie, his 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, sister in law Vi, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and a large circle of friends.
May Timothy rest in peace
Reposing at his residence Ballymountain House Eircode T12Y39X on Monday 17th from 11am-7pm followed by prayers.
Requiem Mass on Tuesday 18th at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Innishannon (family in church from 10am) funeral afterwards to adjoining cemetery.
